About me...

I have been arranging flowers since I was a little girl and I still absolutely love it. I trained professionally in 2006 and since then, I have worked for a number of florists, including a number of well known florists in London, before opening my own shop in 2009 in Melton Mowbray. I now work from my home studio where I can juggle family life and flower work. I absolutely love growing flowers and find huge pleasure in picking my own. My Mum has a beautiful garden and I often collect beautiful blooms and interesting foliage from there. She is so green fingered and grows a lot from seed. It is a definite aim of mine, to grow more home produce. I’m not a fan of pesticides so often make my own bee friendly potions, to fend off the green fly and other menacing beasts in the garden. My favorite flowers are the old English country garden flowers. I love using herbs in my arrangements and often use mint and rosemary as an added scent. I am a huge advocate of locally grown flowers and always try to use local grown flowers for my projects where I can.
